Hiring Brief – Berlin

Hiring need

• Hiring 8 people for the Berlin team.

• Looking to hire/start ASAP.

• All roles focused on Tech recruitment, predominantly contract positions.

• Reporting directly into Katie.

• Open to candidates from abroad, including Scottish/Irish candidates. German language not essential.

• Graduates can be considered, but they need some previous sales/BD experience.

Ideal candidate

• Previous sales, business development, phone-based customer service or recruitment experience.

• Ideally some BD experience.

• Strong work ethic and highly motivated.

• Career-driven and ambitious.

• Money motivated and wants to progress.

• Proactive and entrepreneurial — needs to be someone who will build their own 360 desk/business, not just pass jobs.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

• International experience is a plus.

Role / expectations

• Expected to work 360 recruitment from the start and consistently generate their own business.

• Work sample during interview: candidates will dial through a provided list using a script. This can be done when the wider team aren't in the office.

• Office-based during training, then 1 day remote per week.

• Flexible start/finish times Tuesday–Thursday:

  • Start between 7:30–8:30am

  • Finish between 4:30–5:30pm

• Key expectation: punctuality — no lateness.

Interview process

1. Katie – first interview, either Zoom or in person.

2. Steve – second stage if successful.

3. Final stage – Zoom interview with the wider team.

4. Work sample/dialling exercise included in the process.
